I have had my phone maybe 2 months. Out of those 2 months, my data has worked maybe only a few weeks altogether. I know I have service where I am but for some reason the data keeps cutting itself off. You contact customer service and they are useless. Thank goodness for wifi or I'd have no way to connect to the outside world.
