I needed a new battery. I was told FedEx delivered it to the front porch of the triplex where I live. The front porch belongs to different tenants. i have tried repeatly to get a phone througn this company and they are horrble, i apply online and then fax or upload my income and SSDI letter and then in a few days i get. written letter stating that i am not qulified because i never sent my papwork, so the. i tried again and this time i mailed the paperwork to them the same day i did the application and i was denied again stating i didnt send paperwork to prove my income, they didnt even let... THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO HANDLE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BUSINESS. THEY ARE GETTING GOOD MONEY FROM THE FEDS TO PROVIDE A SERVICE AND ARE UNABLE TO DO SO. I HAVE HAD MY VOICEMAIL BLOCKED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, CALLS DO NOT COMPLETE. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IN THE PHILIPPINES AND THEY ARE CLUELESS. NOBODY SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO RESOLVE ANY ISSUES. Ive tried several times to get my service resolved. The incompetance of this company can only be compared to the obama administration. FAILURE! I now have no way to be in contact with anyone. So if assurance wireless is so worry free. Why did i have to recertify the last 5 months and still no service. When i call the 1 888 and more 8s nobody will let me speak to manager or supervisor. I won't dignify a response as they aren't worth it. I AM DONE....Steal your money and you have to fight to get it back, don't do their job, don't know what they are doing, I have just spent over 3 hours and yesterday 2 hours trying to fix the problem and still not fixed. It seems like every few months my service is getting cut off. Tonight it happened around 9pm PST when I was responding to a text that a friend of mine sent. Had phone 24 hrs and neighborhood incident needing police assist AND guess what NO SERVICE.! Ìf a friend had not had a phone we would be in grave danger.

Just the worst possible service: a network that is often down, unresponsive customer support, and terrible phones. Stay away from this company!

I do not give Assurance Wireless not even 1 star. Assurance turned my phone off twice and said it was the California lifeline that turned it off, I called California lifeline and they said it was Assurance wireless that cut me off. California lifeline approved my application. Assurance wireless just gave me the run around, now I am going to another phone company..
