They stole $10 from me and they said after the 6 the Replacement pho e they would give back but now they won't I am 70 and I need a phone. They have lied to me over and over again. They SUCK

Why no body listens or cares. Was told that by one of Assurance rep. Said they didn't receive broken phone back and turned phone off. They had it the whole time I'm 70 and this Co has caused me so much STRESS. NOW THEY WONT GIVE MY $10 BACK I PAID FOR UNLIMITED MIN. I paid this off my social security . Said they need to invedtigate. U NEVER. GET THE SAME STORY . They should be ashamed of doing this to the elderly. It's called ELDERLY ABUSE ASSURANCE WIRELESS!!!! SHAME ON YOU AND I HOPE U GET CAUGHT WITH YOUR FRADULENT COMPANY Dead I bet this page is *** TOO

I had been with assurance wireless for a few years and have had good service up to a point. Now the bad..One day I couldn't call out or check my voice mail.When I contacted customer service as to why my service was cancelled,they told me it was because I had two accounts. I told them that's not possible could they please explain what they meant by that. I was told they could not tell me other than their records showed I had two accounts- but I could continue using the phone if I purchased a Virgin Mobile phone card and pay for minutes. Since I'm not a big phone person I purchased $25 worth of minutes. Long before my minutes were up they cancelled my service again.When I called to find out why they told me I had been dropped from their service. I told them I purchased that time with the card-they checked my account and agreed-I told turn my phone back on or give me a refund. They said they couldn't turn my phone back on and could only provide a refund if I had purchased the phone card with a debit or credit card. I purchased the card on my debit but they came up with another hurdle. I was told I had to provide proof of purchase. I told them you cannot activate the card unless it has been paid for and since my account balance still had a $24.60 balance was all the proof that was needed. Another hurdle...I was then told I needed to provide the purchase date.I told them they already had that information..can you believe this?? Long story short..I was told I wasn't getting a refund or my phone turned on. I checked reviews of the other life line providers and they all seem to be similar.

my phone has no service at all called and was told towers are being worked on BUT WASNT GIVEN ANY NOTICE THAT THIS WAS SCHEDULED how sare this company just turn our phones off without any cares to customers and as far as customer service goes all they do everytime i call is apoligize nonstop but dont help resolve issues nust keep sending new phones I HATE dealing with this scam artist company and its the government whos suppost to be monitoring who they contract to and not throw our taxpayers$ overseas to some backally sweatshop like assurance i haD to give 1 star to even submit this but it should be -5 horrible company horrible service

Just spent the last 45 min. Reading the same reviews of either ANS OR UMX LIFELINE PHONES.

NONE OF US ARE GETTING ANYWHERE WITH ONE REPLACEMENT AFTER ANOTHER. THESE ARE INFERIOR USELESS PHONES.

I'M GOING TO TRY TO GET HELP, OTHER THAN C/S. WISH ME LUCK GOOD PEOPLE, I WILL REMAIN ON THIS SITE AS LONG AS MY UMX DOESN'T FREEZE UP.REVIEWS CLEARLY SHOW A PATTERN OF THE SAME NEGATIVE ISSUES.

I'm on my 2nd one. After about 3 months, internet svc froze; data goes quickly. I'm adding top off cards way too often. Really an inferior phone for the disabled.

The first phone I received was absolutely horrible. It would drop calls and most of the time I couldn't make calls or send texts because the phone got a poor signal. So they sent me a zte quest n817. The same problems with the zte as the first phone they sent. So I've had assurance wireless for about 1 year and due to the bad phones haven't used the service at all. I went and bought a phone and use a different carrier. As soon as the assurance wireless service hits 1 year, I'm going to a different lifeline provider

Replacement phone

I tried to purchase a replacement phone for 5.99 and I did make sure I had enough money in my bank to purchase the replacement phone and they would not accept my ebt card I tried about 5 times .and still they wouldn't accept by debit card
